Incubate Executive Director John Stanford was joined by Murat Kalayoglu, CEO of Cartesian Therapeutics in a fireside chat on drug pricing. The virtual event took place on January 20 at Maryland Tech Council’s 2022 Advocacy Summit.
John Stanford provided introductory statements on the importance of advocacy in the life science industry and why venture capital investment is so critical to continuing innovation in this country. He also gave an overview of the challenges we face when doing advocacy work at the federal level, and how Incubate stands in opposition of any form of price controls.
